February 20, 2015
January and February have been cold and blustery. Here inside the ELL classroom we have been busy reading and writing. Kindergarten students have been writing their own dictionaries, creating an ABC book of picture sorts and writing book responses. Students in grades 1 and 2 wrote, rehearsed and performed their own Reader's Theaters, and then got to work on nonfiction All About books. We all took time out to enjoy Groundhog Day activities. We are certainly in for another 6 weeks of winter! Stay warm and enjoy the February break!
